Dear Families, Residents & General Visitors: On April 4th, 2023, we are changed the access into the facility, whereby all visitors will now require to enter a code to gain access into HFH.  Visiting hours are being extended from 9:00am to 8:00pm daily.  The exterior front door will continue to be locked from 8:30pm to 8:30am.  Security will not permit entry during the evening lockdown unless there are exceptional circumstances. August 25, 2022 Dear Residents and Families: We are pleased to inform you that the COVID-19 outbreak on 5A – St. Michael’s has been declared over by WRHA Infection Control and our Medical Director effective today.  There were eight residents who tested positive and all are past the infectious period.  The unit is open to general visitation as per guidelines during visitation hours.  Thank you for your support. August 15, 2022 Dear Residents and Families: We wanted to inform you that we had 3 additional residents test positive for COVID-19 this weekend on 5A St. Michael’s unit for a total of 8 resident cases. All of our original 5 positive residents are off precautions and in their recovery phase. The family of the residents who tested positive for COVID 19 have been notified and are on isolation with mild symptoms.
