Dear Residents and Families:
We wanted to provide an update of our current COVID-19 and outbreak status in the Home:
- 4C St. Martha’s / St. Basil’s has 6 residents positive with COVID-19 and is in outbreak.
- 3A St. Anne’s has 4 COVID-19 residents positive and an outbreak has been declared.
- 4A St Joseph’s has 1 COVID-19 positive resident and one resident with RSV who will be resolved on November 3, 2022
- 5A has 2 residents who are positive with hMPV (human metapneumovirus) and are in respiratory outbreak.
Families of impacted residents have all been contacted by phone.
All remaining residents on the 4C St. Martha’s / St. Basil’s, 3A St. Anne’s and 4A St. Joseph’s will be closely monitored for symptoms but will only be tested if symptomatic.
Designated caregivers can continue to visit all their loved ones on these units with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Please see the nursing staff for direction on PPE needs when you arrive on the unit.
We continue to allow residents into the dining room for meals and group activities if they are deemed recovered from COVID-19 in the last 180 days. All off unit events/programming are cancelled for the residents on 4C and 3A unit until the end of the outbreak.
