2021-09-23T14:45:27-05:00September 23rd, 2021|

Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada (UCWLC) members and some parishioners were busy.  In celebration of the UCWLC 75th anniversary and in conjunction with a COVID-19 project they crocheted or knitted 150 laptop blankets and shawls.  100 of these were generously donated to Holy Family Home for residents to enjoy. Thank you to all those who took the time to create such beautiful pieces. Covid / Visitation Update

2021-08-30T11:09:16-05:00August 30th, 2021|

Dear Families, With consideration of feedback received from our residents and families, we are making further changes to our visitation hours.  The current public health direction does not permit us to ask the vaccination status of our designated family caregivers and indicates only one designated family caregiver can visit in the home at a time.  We have heard from many designated family caregivers that given they are both fully vaccinated, they would like to visit at the same time and are willing to share their proof of vaccination with the Home.  Beginning September 1, 2021, our visiting hours will be [...]

Covid Update

2021-08-03T09:35:12-05:00July 30th, 2021|

Dear Families, We are reminding designated family caregivers and visitors that wearing masks (fully covering nose and mouth) is mandatory at all times both inside the Home and in the outdoor areas.  This is in accordance with public health orders and is regardless of vaccine status.  The vaccine is the best tool we have in the prevention of COVID-19 but it is not 100% effective.  The mask requirement will remain in effect until the province gives further direction.  There should also be no food or drink consumed by any visitors in the resident’s rooms. Thank you for your continued support [...]
