Dear families,

Late last week we had residents experiencing respiratory symptoms on 3C St. Paul’s/St. John’s unit and an outbreak of COVID 19 was declared on Feb. 16, 2024.

Nursing is continuing to monitor our residents closely and outbreak protocol’s have been initiated on the unit. This includes only two (2) visitors allowed per resident at one time and visitation needs to occur in the resident room. Affected residents who are experiencing respiratory symptoms have been isolated in their rooms and all group activities/off units events are on hold for 3C St. Paul’s/St. John’s residents and unit. Recreation activities have transitioned to small group or 1:1 activities. Residents who are not experiencing symptoms are still able to go to the dining room, but need to remain 6 feet from other residents.

With regards to the scabies outbreak on 3C, we are hoping to have this outbreak cleared later on this week as long as no residents become symptomatic.

If you should have any questions please connect with the nursing unit.

Thank you,

Stacey Morgan RNBN

Director of Care
