CONSTRUCTION BULLETIN

Holy Family Home is moving forward with significant construction and renovation work as part of the Provincial Fire Life Safety Upgrade. These improvements will enhance safety, refresh resident spaces, and support a more comfortable and resident-centered environment for everyone who lives in our Home.

Project Timelines

Current Work (Ongoing)

1. Basement Level – Storage Area
   Targeted completion: March 2026

2. Mechanical Room A
   Targeted completion: March 2026

3. Chapel and Spiritual Care Offices
   Started January 2026 – Targeted completion: February 2026

4. Washrooms near Building A Elevator Lobby
   Start: February 16, 2026 – Targeted completion: March 6, 2026

February 2026

1. Families of 2A residents will be invited to tour the temporary unit

2. HFH staff are actively preparing for the arrival of residents from 2A—there is a great deal of coordination and activity underway

3. Residents transition from 2A to Building B, Second Floor

4. Move dates: February 18 and February 19, 2026

March 2026

1. Construction begins on Building A – Unit 2A (Sacred Heart)
