October 12, 2023

Dear families,

We would like to bring to your attention that as of yesterday, a respiratory outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared on 3A St. Anne’s unit. 2C St. Mary’s and St. Francis units remain in respiratory outbreak. Outbreak measures are in place to prevent the spread of the virus to other residents within the home.

With regards to today’s event, “Ukrainian Buds and Spuds,” we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the following measures:

3A St. Anne’s unit: Residents and families are kindly asked to remain on the unit premises. Meals will be served in the unit dining room, and programming activities will also be conducted on the unit. We kindly request that families wear masks when not consuming food.

2C St. Mary’s and St. Francis unit: Residents and families are kindly asked to remain on the unit to have their meals in the dining room. Residents who are not currently in isolation, along with their families, may join the entertainment in the auditorium after their designated meal time. We kindly request that families wear masks when not consuming food.

Our dedicated Ladies Auxiliary and Recreation teams are collaborating to organize special entertainment for both 3A and 2C St. Mary’s and St. Francis units on a later date when both outbreaks have been declared over.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate through this situation. Please remember to practice good hygiene by washing your hands regularly, getting vaccinated, and covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you.

Sincerely,

Stacey Morgan RNBN

Director of Care
