Dear Residents and Families,
The “Orange – Restricted Status” for the City of Winnipeg continues as announced by Dr. Roussin on September 25, 2020. The provincial and Shared Health guidelines have been implemented at Holy Family Home restricting visitation to only the two identified Designated Caregivers visiting one at a time. These restrictions also indicate that residents cannot leave for short-absences during this time other than for essential health services. This means residents cannot leave the home to attend family gatherings for Thanksgiving. We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone and we are working hard to balance the ability for residents and families to spend time with one another with adhering to the protocols to minimize risks.
Thanksgiving is a time of reflection and we are grateful for the support received from the residents and families, the commitment of staff and for the opportunity to serve the residents. May your Thanksgiving be blessed and filled with gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving to you and keep well.
