Dear families,
Yesterday April 25, 2024 the scabies outbreak on 3A St. Anne’s unit was resolved per regional infection prevention and control in consultation with our Medical Director. So all residents have resumed regular activities which include leaving the unit to attend programs and visiting with family and friends off the resident care unit. Thank you to the residents, family members and staff for their hard work to ensure we did not have additional spread on the resident care unit as well as the remainder of the facility.
Therefore, as of today, Holy Family Home is officially out of outbreak on all the resident care units within the home. All units can be part of regular programming on and off the units and family members/loved ones of our residents are free to visit throughout the facility and grounds.
