Dear Residents and Families:

We have had two more residents on 5A – St. Michael’s test positive for COVID-19.  There are five active cases and one resident post-infection on this unit.  3A – St. Anne’s has two residents positive for COVID-19.

There are 26 COVID-19 positive staff who are isolating presently.

On January 13, 2022 we began allowing one fully vaccinated designated caregiver to visit in the resident’s room following the protocols below:

  • The unit is not currently experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak or other outbreak.
  • Each resident may have one fully-vaccinated designated family caregiver visit per day (there will be no exceptions).
  • Visits are to occur in the resident’s rooms only.
  • Masks (fully covering the nose and mouth) and eye shields must be worn at all times.
  • Physical distance of 6 feet should be maintained as much as possible.
  • No food or drink will be permitted while visiting.
  • If designated family caregivers are not following these protocols, their visitation access will be revoked.

Visitation hours will be as follows:

DayHours
Monday10 am – 2 pm
Tuesday3 pm – 7 pm
Wednesday10 am – 2 pm
Thursday3 pm – 7 pm
Friday10 am – 2 pm

We are requesting designated family caregivers to communicate with one another to reduce the likelihood of being declined entry on arrival at the Home. Exceptions for end of life visitation will occur in adherence to the Shared Health guidelines.

We will contact you should there be any concerns or issues with your loved one.

Please keep Holy Family Home in your thoughts and your prayers.

Sincerely,
