Dear Residents and Families:

Beginning January 13, 2022, we will be allowing fully vaccinated designated family caregivers to again visit their resident in their room with the following parameters:

  • The unit is not currently experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak or other outbreak.
  • Each resident may have one fully-vaccinated designated family caregiver visit per day (there will be no exceptions).
  • Visits are to occur in the resident’s rooms only.
  • Masks (fully covering the nose and mouth) and eye shields must be worn at all times.
  • Physical distance of 6 feet should be maintained as much as possible.
  • No food or drink will be permitted while visiting.
  • If designated family caregivers are not following these protocols, their visitation access will be revoked.

Visitation hours will be as follows:

Tuesday3 pm – 7 pm
Wednesday10 am – 2 pm

We are requesting designated family caregivers to communicate with one another to reduce the likelihood of being declined entry on arrival at the Home.

There has been one more resident test positive for COVID-19 on 3A – St. Anne’s for a total of two residents.  There remains one swab outstanding on the unit.  5A – St. Michael’s has had one more resident test positive with now 4 residents COVID-19 positive.

There have been 32 positive staff who are isolating.  Staffing continues to be maintained.

We will contact you should there be any concerns or issues with your loved one.

Please keep Holy Family Home in your thoughts and your prayers.

Sincerely,

Tara-Lee Procter (Maciuszonek) – Chief Executive Officer
