Dear Residents and Families,
We are saddened to share that a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared on 5A – St. Michael’s. There has been one staff and one resident test positive. The residents are all in isolation and all protocols have been implemented. All of the residents’ families on this unit have been contacted by phone. We are working closely with WRHA Infection Prevention and Control and public health.
All visitation for the residents on this unit has been suspended. Exceptions will be made for residents receiving end of life care. Visitation will continue on the remainder of the units at the present time.
