Dear Residents and Families,
Holy Family Home is in the process of fulfilling the public health requirement for all staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or to submit a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of their shift. This is required to be implemented effective October 18, 2021. We are happy to share the vast majority of staff have shared their full vaccination status with the Home at the present time. We will also be requiring contractors and all service providers to the Home show proof of vaccination as well.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we roll-out the necessary processes to adhere to the public health direction. There may be delays during screening particularly at times of shift changes.
As we enter into the fourth wave, it is imperative that all visitors to the Home wear their masks fully (covering nose and mouth) and practice good hand hygiene and physical distance as much as possible.
Thanksgiving will be celebrated for the residents at lunch on Sunday, October 10, 2021. The meal will include soup, roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, fall medley vegetables, and pumpkin pie with whipping cream.
We wish everyone a safe, healthy and happy Thanksgiving.
Please keep Holy Family Home in your thoughts and your prayers.
Sincerely,
Tara-Lee Procter (Maciuszonek) – CEO
