Dear Families,
There was an additional resident test positive today. Currently there are 83 residents recovered from the infectious period of the virus and recuperating, 13 active resident cases, 1 resident in hospital and sadly nineteen residents have passed away. There have been a total of 116 residents test positive for COVID-19. We are grateful for all those residents who have recovered from the infectious period of the virus and we send our best wishes for their continued recovery.
We have had 37 staff members of the 45 who have tested positive for COVID-19 recover. We look forward to the safe return of our staff and to their recovery.
The Red Cross will be continuing to provide assistance to the residents with eight support aides. There is on-site management from the Red Cross and we continue to work closely with them.
