Dear Families,
We received three more positive results today bringing the total of COVID-19 positive residents to 101. There are currently 54 residents recovered from the virus who are no longer infectious and recuperating, 31 active resident cases, 2 residents in hospital and sadly fourteen residents have passed away. We anticipate the recovery of many more of our residents in the next few days. Our thoughts and prayers are with these residents for their recovery and their increased strength.
We have had 44 staff members test positive for COVID-19 and 23 have recovered. There are several more staff to be anticipated to be cleared to return to work in the next few days.
We continue to work closely with the WRHA and Occupational Safety and Health as we continue to manage our outbreak.
