Dear Families,
It is with heart felt sadness that we inform you of the passing of two of our residents since yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
We received three more positive results today bringing the total of COVID-19 positive residents to 98. There are currently 54 residents recovered from the virus who are no longer infectious and recuperating, 28 active resident cases, 2 residents in hospital and sadly fourteen residents have passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with these residents for their recovery and continued health.
We have had 43 staff members test positive for COVID-19 and 22 have recovered. There are several more staff to be anticipated to be cleared to return to work in the next few days.
We continue to work closely with the WRHA and Occupational Safety and Health as we continue to manage our outbreak.
