Dear Residents and Families:
We are very sorry to share that there have been two residents who have passed away who had been positive for COVID-19. Our sincere condolences and prayers to the families at this difficult time.
We are grateful to share that the outbreak on 5A – St. Michael’s has been declared over effective tomorrow May 6, 2022. Outbreaks are determined to be resolved by WRHA Infection Prevention and Control in consultation with an infectious disease specialist and our medical director.
Our current COVID-19 status is as follows:

The families of these residents have been informed and if there are any issues with your family member, the unit staff will contact you by phone.
We have had six residents who tested positive for COVID-19 pass away.
We have 38 staffing currently isolating who are COVID-19 positive.
Fully vaccinated Designated Family Caregivers will continue to be able to visit on all units whether there is an outbreak on the unit or not. If visiting on a unit with COVID-19 activity, please report to nursing to receive information on the proper use and donning / doffing of personal protective equipment.
Please note the park and courtyard are not accessible at this time as we continue to have significant COVID-19 activity in the Home.
General visitors are not able to visit on any units within the Home at this time.
