Dear Residents and Families:
RE: Christmas Season Information
With the Christmas season arriving soon, we wanted to share information regarding the processes at the Home.
Resident Gifts:
Gifts may be dropped off for the residents between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Each gift will be sanitized prior to delivery to the resident. We will do our best to be able to sanitize to enable visitors to take the gift during visiting hours but we may not be able to keep up with the volume. Your patience is appreciated.
Gifts for Staff:
The kind and generous gifts to units and departments are sincerely appreciated. Please note items need to be individually packaged in order for us to be able to accept them as part of infection prevention and control protocols. As per policy, individual staff are not permitted to accept gifts from residents or families.
Christmas Menu:
On Christmas Eve, the residents will be served a traditional meal of borscht, salmon salad, potato & cheddar perogies, buckwheat cabbage rolls and kutia.
Christmas day lunch will include cabbage soup, roast turkey with gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, vegetables and red velvet cake.
Thank you for your continued support. Please keep Holy Family Home in your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Tara-Lee Procter (Maciuszonek)
Chief Executive Officer
