As we come to the end of this very different and difficult year, let us remind ourselves how much strength, grace & blessings we receive when we carry a grateful spirit. There is so much to be grateful for:
Our Residents: you are the reason that the Home exists, thank you for allowing us to care for you.
Our Resident Families: thank you for your trust and understanding that our staff are doing their best to take care of your loved ones.
Our Staff: thank you for providing excellent care to our residents with compassion and love. And thank you for keeping the home clean, warm and comfortable.
Our Management: Thank you Tara-Lee, who joined us in July, and management staff who have put in tremendous effort in guiding the ship.
Our Sisters: thank you for your spiritual guidance, faith and positive attitude to keep us all focused on the Mission of the Home.
Our Volunteers: thank you for your efforts in fund raising and all the many ways you support the residents, staff and the Home.
Our Board: thank you for your many volunteer hours and talents you bring to ensure the smooth operations of the Home.
I am very pleased and grateful for the opportunity to serve. We have come through some very challenging times with our expansion project and now the pandemic. We have nothing but much better days ahead.
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. May any sufferings, difficulties, problems, negativity you might have experienced melt away as we celebrate the New Birth that comes at Christmas.
Celebrate as best you can and ZOOM into the New Year.
God Bless you all.
